MMXXVI

Written, performed, recorded, and mixed by Daniel Vincent

After fifteen years of quiet, SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX returns with MMXXVI: eight new pieces of deep, dark ambience shaped from sub‑bass pressure, degraded circuitry, and long‑stored resonance. Moving from deep lows to new drones, the album marks the London-based experimental music project’s first original work since 2011, emerging from the shadows with a colder, more focused intensity. MMXXVI drifts between tectonic rumble and suspended stillness, tracing the edges of forgotten spaces and the mechanical ghosts that linger there. Each piece feels like a recovered signal: slow, heavy, and quietly corrosive, carrying the weight of the years it took to surface. For listeners of isolationist ambient, industrial drift, and the darker corners of tape‑worn electronics, this is a reactivation long overdue.
